At CLR, every appointment or individual starts out with a thorough head check - Comb Thru or Visual. If no lice or nits (eggs) are found, not treatment would ever be needed with us. If lice and/or nits are present, will show you evidence of an infestation prior to starting our combing treatment. (and, the head check fee is waived if a treatment is performed with us.)
We repeatedly, continually cover all areas of the scalp and through the hair, strand-by-strand, until we get clear, lice and nit-free passes with our lice comb. No tricks or gimmicks, we utilize 100% manual removal of lice and nits. Most of our lice combing treatments are complete in only 30-40 minutes. *Heavier or more advanced cases (having head lice for 2/3 or more months), will obviously take longer and more time to get lice and nit free.
At CLR, we want to ensure that you and your family stay head lice free after leaving us! Being that the live bugs can potentially live in your home for a couple of days off the head, and kids can possibly become reinfested from other children they encounter after leaving us, As a precaution - we advise a quick at-home combing check in the days to follow to ensure that everyones' heads are staying 100% clear. If you ever see lice on your combing checks, your always urged to photograph the bug and call us immediately to let us know exactly what your seeing. Please Note: the vast majority of our clients DO NOT see bugs on these combing checks.
Included in with our treatment service, we offer families a final head check evaluation 7 to 10 days after your initial treatment to give you and your family the peace of mind and closure that you desire and want when dealing with this sort of an issue. If any live lice and/or active nits are detected on the final evaluation check, we promise to perform another additional combing treatment at no additional charge to you. At CLR, we get you clear - and, ensure you stay clear.
